A rejected upload needs a file or document check, not automatically a new application. Identify whether the form rejected the file before submission or the authority has requested a replacement on an existing India eVisa application. Keep the existing reference while you check.
The official portal says inappropriate document images may lead to a re-upload request. Its instructions also require e-Tourist applications at least four days before arrival. Private priority assistance does not remove that application window or guarantee approval before a flight.
Identify the problem before changing the file

Do not rely on an old guide's file-size figure when the live field gives a different instruction. “2 × 2 inch photo” by itself is not a complete specification for a digital upload: the actual format, dimensions and file limits need to match the current application field.
Keep the face and passport information readable
For the photograph, follow the portal's front-facing image and background instructions. Check the saved copy rather than assuming the camera preview is the uploaded file. Avoid filters that change your appearance.
For the passport, use the document you intend to travel with and retain the requested biographical-page information. Check the passport number, names and dates at a readable zoom level. A clear file cannot repair a number typed incorrectly into the form.
Preserve the original image so that you can export another version without repeatedly degrading a compressed copy. Do not combine unrelated travelers' identity pages into one person's file or change document text to match a mistaken application.
Responding to a request after submission
Check whether the request came from the authority or from the private service preparing your application. A replacement uploaded to an assistance account is not necessarily a replacement already transmitted to the authority.
For an application made on this website, open your existing application or contact our team with the reference and request details. For a direct application, use the official portal and the instructions on the notice. Avoid sharing passport images in public posts.
Keep a record of which document was replaced and when. A request for an image is not an approval, and receiving an acknowledgment does not establish that the authorization has been granted.

If your arrival is within 0–2 days, do not interpret the private checkout's Urgent option as proof that a new India eVisa application can meet the official minimum window. Review the processing guidance and contact the relevant authority about a viable route before paying for an application that may not fit your dates.
If you need a new assisted application and the eligibility and timing checks are satisfied, compare the complete fees and choose Urgent handling. If you already have an application, follow up on that record first.
